Standard Package

Essential ongoing guardianship support throughout the academic year

Our Standard Guardianship Package provides comprehensive support for students studying in the UK on a longer-term basis.

  • £900.00 Guardianship cost (£350.00 per term)
  • £150.00 Initial registration fee

This package is ideal for:

  • International boarding school students
  • Students studying in the UK for a full academic year or less
  • Families wanting reliable year-round guardianship support
  • Students requiring regular communication between school and parents
  • Parents seeking reassurance and ongoing welfare monitoring
  • Students likely to require host family accommodation during exeats or holidays
  • Families wanting a balanced level of support and value

Enhanced Package

Premium guardianship support with additional welfare monitoring and personalised care

Our Enhanced Guardianship Package offers a higher level of support for families who would like more regular communication, increased student monitoring and a more personalised service.

  • £1,200.00 Guardianship cost (£450.00 per term)
  • £150.00 Initial registration fee

This package is ideal for:

  • Families wanting premium guardianship support
  • Younger students who may benefit from increased welfare monitoring
  • Parents wanting more regular updates and communication
  • Students who may need additional emotional or pastoral support
  • Families seeking a more personalised guardianship experience
  • Students travelling frequently during term time
  • Parents wanting greater involvement and reassurance throughout the school year

What is included in the package:

✔ Everything included in the Standard Package +
✔ Enhanced communication with parents
✔ 2 Visits to your child at the boarding house per term
✔ Weekly contact with your child by Text/WhatsApp/E-mail etc
✔ Greater support during travel and transitions
✔ Priority assistance when arranging additional services
✔ Contact with your child before, during and after a homestay

 

University Package

Guardianship support for university and foundation students

This package is designed specifically for older students attending university, college or foundation programmes within the UK.

  • £750.00 Guardianship cost for the year
  • £150.00 Initial registration fee

This package is ideal for:

  • University students
  • Foundation and College students

What is included in the package:

✔ 24/7 emergency contact support
✔ UK-based guardian contact
✔ General welfare support
✔ Advice and guidance during study in the UK
✔ Assistance during emergencies
✔ Communication support when required

 

 

Additional costs

 

 

Host family accommodation (per day)

Emergency (less than 3 days notice) - £55

Pre-planned - £50

Payment is required in full prior to the start of any pre-planned hosting.

Christmas supplement of £200 (if staying with a host over the Christmas period)

 

***As some of these services involve external partners and host families, additional costs may apply.***

 

If your child is not registered with East Coast Guardians but requires hosting for anything pre-planned or emergency the fee will be charged at £60.00 per day plus an administration fee of £60.00 for every occasion our services are used.

 

***If your child is excluded from school due to their behaviour, the guardianship cost is non-refundable***

 

Please Note:
Guardianship Fee covers term time only. Not Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays.
